At The Idea Shops, we want you to love the pieces you bring into your home. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the shipping date of your purchase.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • Items must be returned in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Gift cards
  • Final sale items
  • Custom or special order items
  • Items that show signs of use or damage

Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the packaging

We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund when applicable.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error with the order.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.

Shipping

We carefully package each order to ensure it arrives safely.

Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days.

Shipping times may vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

In-Store Pickup

Customers may also choose in-store pickup at our Pittsburgh showroom when available.

You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup.

Please bring your order confirmation when collecting your purchase.
